According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, FM Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with Jeyhun Bayramov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

During the call, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister provided detailed information about the drone attack carried out against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The incident reportedly resulted in injuries among civilians and damage to civilian infrastructure.

The Uzbek side expressed serious concern over the situation, stressing that such actions contradict the principles of international law.

Uzbekistan underlined that any actions that violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of a state are absolutely unacceptable.

The discussion took place amid heightened tensions following the reported attack, with Uzbekistan reiterating its position in support of respect for international legal norms and state sovereignty.
