Donald Trump invites Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Peace Council meeting and G20 summit
US President Donald Trump has sent a formal letter to the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, extending an invitation to attend the upcoming Peace Council meeting and the G20 summit scheduled to take place in Miami.

According to Sherzod Asadov, the spokesperson for the President of Uzbekistan, the American leader expressed high regard for President Mirziyoyev’s participation in the inaugural meeting of the Peace Council, which was held in February 2026. In the message, Donald Trump highlighted that the President of Uzbekistan is achieving impressive results within the country and voiced his appreciation for the progress being made.
The letter also served as an opportunity for the US President to express his gratitude for an invitation to visit Uzbekistan. Looking forward to future diplomatic engagements, the correspondence specifically invited the Uzbek leader to the next session of the Peace Council and the high-profile G20 summit in Florida.
The US President concluded the letter with a message of goodwill, wishing for God’s blessings upon President Mirziyoyev and the "great people of Uzbekistan."
