The meetings involved delegations from relevant ministries and agencies of both nations. Participants reviewed the current state of migration between the two countries and identified several pressing issues that require collaborative solutions. A central focus of the discussions was the protection of the legal rights of foreign citizens, ensuring compliance with labor laws by migrants working in Russia, and implementing effective measures to counter extremism and terrorism within the context of migration flows.

Furthermore, the parties discussed measures to expand the existing legal and contractual framework governing labor migration. There was a particular emphasis on increasing transparency through improved information exchange, which is seen as a key step toward improving general living and working conditions for migrant workers.

By the conclusion of the meeting, the representatives emphasized the necessity of developing comprehensive, integrated measures that respect the national interests of both Uzbekistan and Russia. Both sides stressed the importance of strengthening coordination between state bodies to ensure that migration processes are managed efficiently and safely.
