Uzbekistan’s FTT hits $11.6 billion in first two months of 2026
The National Statistics Committee noted that the country’s foreign trade turnover reached $11.6 billion during the first two months of 2026.
The current figures represent an increase of $767.4 million, or 7.1%, compared to the same period last year. A detailed breakdown of the trade structure shows that exports accounted for $3.5 billion, while imports reached a total of $8.1 billion.
During January and February of 2026, Uzbekistan maintained and expanded its global economic footprint by conducting trade operations with more than 160 countries.
The distribution of trade volume remains concentrated among a few key nations, with China and the Russian Federation continuing to serve as the primary drivers of Uzbekistan's external commerce. China held the largest share, accounting for 27.5% of the total turnover. This was followed by the Russian Federation at 18.3%, Kazakhstan at 7.2%, Turkey at 3.6%, and the Republic of Korea at 2.7%.
