Abdukodir Khusanov has been named the club’s Player of the Month for the third time. In a fan poll conducted to determine the standout performer for March, the 22-year-old Uzbekistan national team defender outperformed high-profile teammates, including midfielder Rodri and winger Jeremy Doku.

This latest accolade marks the third time Khusanov has received the honor since his arrival in England. He was previously voted the team’s best player in February 2025 and January 2026. His consistent form has quickly established him as a key figure in Pep Guardiola’s squad following his transfer from the French side Lens in January last year.
Throughout March, Khusanov appeared in six matches across all competitions, earning a place in the starting lineup for five of those fixtures. His contributions were instrumental in a successful month for the "Cityzens," which was highlighted by a victory in the English League Cup. On March 22, the young defender played the full 90 minutes in the final against Arsenal, securing a 2–0 win and claiming his first major trophy in English football.
Now a mainstay in the heart of the Manchester City defense, Khusanov continues to draw praise for his rapid adaptation to the Premier League and his ability to compete at the highest level of European football.
