Tashkent announces five-day hot water outage for major districts
Hot water supply will be suspended for five days in several districts of Tashkent due to planned maintenance, authorities have announced. The restrictions will primarily affect the Yashnobod, Yakkasaray, Mirobod, Chilonzor, and Shaykhantakhur districts, as well as parts of the Sergeli district.
From April 27 to May 1, hot water supply will be temporarily halted at Boiler House No. 7 (7–IM) and the Tashkent Thermal Power Plant (Tashkent TPP) as part of scheduled infrastructure maintenance. The disruptions are expected to cover multiple streets, residential complexes, and neighborhoods across the affected areas.
According to the official announcement, the outage will impact zones served by Boiler House No. 7 in the Yashnobod district. This includes major thoroughfares such as Karasuv, Besharyk, Birlashgan, Ohangaron Road, and Parkent Street, along with the Tuzel and Aviasozlar residential areas.
Areas supplied by the Tashkent TPP will also experience service interruptions. This includes sections of the Yakkasaray, Mirobod, Chilonzor, Shaykhantakhur, and Yashnobod districts, with outages expected along major streets such as Shota Rustaveli, Oybek, and Amir Temur.
Authorities have provided an extensive list of the specific neighborhoods and residential blocks affected to help citizens prepare. Residents in these zones are advised to take necessary precautions during the temporary suspension.
