According to the press service of Uzbekistan Railways, the plant plans to supply 42 passenger-luggage carriages to Russia this year, a move expected to significantly strengthen the "Made in Uzbekistan" brand on the international stage.

The export initiative aligns with the 2025-2026 modernization program for Uzbekistan’s carriage-building enterprises, which was presented to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in February. The program mandates the production of 70 new passenger carriages by the middle of this year. As of early May, 55 carriages have already been commissioned, including 10 units completed during March and April. The factory expects to finalize the remaining 15 carriages by the end of June.

In addition to standard passenger rolling stock, local engineers have successfully conducted trials for new carriages designed for the EP3D electric train. The factory currently maintains a diverse production line that includes second-class (platzkart) sleepers, compartment carriages, high-comfort carriages, specialized units for passengers with disabilities, and dining cars.

Modern comfort and safety features are central to the factory's current output. The new carriages are equipped with climate control systems, modern water heaters, and personal charging stations featuring USB ports. Furthermore, the rolling stock includes environmentally friendly vacuum toilets, comprehensive video surveillance systems, and dedicated equipment to assist passengers with reduced mobility.
