JSC Xalq Banki strengthens strategic partnership with Mastercard
The agreement aims to expand digital services and introduce innovative solutions within Uzbekistan’s financial ecosystem. Yasemin Bedir, President of Mastercard’s Eastern Europe Division, highly praised the partnership, noting that participating in the ADB’s annual forum in Samarkand was a significant honor for the company.
“Today, we signed a memorandum of understanding with JSC Xalq Banki. This document reflects the transition of our cooperation to a new stage and creates a solid foundation for developing new portfolios, further integrating financial products, and advancing digitalization processes,” she stated.

As part of this cooperation, the parties plan to develop a next-generation retail financial product branded as “Xalq Card.” According to the bank, the card will be developed based on comprehensive market analysis and customer needs, offering personalized financial solutions for every user.

In addition, the parties intend to introduce a modern, AI-based credit scoring system. This technology will enable faster and more accurate credit decision-making, expand data-driven lending practices, and increase the overall accessibility of financial services.
