Albanian President arrives in Uzbekistan on official visit
President of Albania Bajram Begaj, accompanied by his wife, has arrived in Uzbekistan for an official visit at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The visit centers on wide-ranging discussions aimed at expanding cooperation between the two countries.
Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis Nuriddin Ismoilov and other officials welcomed the distinguished guest at the Tashkent International Airport.
According to the visit program, high-level talks between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Albania will take place in Tashkent. The presidents will review prospects for further developing multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
The sides are expected to discuss expanding trade and economic ties, developing industrial cooperation, and strengthening partnership in the agricultural sector. Joint projects in green energy and tourism will also be high on the agenda.
Special attention will be paid to activating cultural–humanitarian exchanges and deepening cooperation in education and culture.
During the talks, the leaders will exchange views on pressing international and regional issues, as well as mutual support within the framework of international organizations and multilateral platforms.
As part of the visit, President Bajram Begaj will also participate in the events of the V Tashkent International Investment Forum.
