A team of Uzbek referees led by Ilgiz Tantashev has been appointed to officiate the FIFA World Cup round of 16 match between Paraguay and France.
Tantashev will be assisted by fellow Uzbek referees Andrey Tsapenko and Timur Gaynullin.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 2:00 a.m. Tashkent time on July 5 in Philadelphia, United States.
The appointment marks the third World Cup assignment for the Uzbek officiating crew at the tournament. Earlier, the same team oversaw two group-stage matches: Scotland vs. Morocco and Algeria vs. Austria.
