According to the Dunyo Information Agency, the repatriation was carried out through coordinated efforts between the competent authorities of Uzbekistan and the United States.
"All organizational and legal procedures were promptly coordinated within the framework of bilateral cooperation, including the identification of citizens, the preparation of the necessary documents and arrangements for their safe transportation," the statement said.
The authorities noted that Uzbekistan continues to cooperate with its international partners on migration issues, with a particular focus on preventing violations of immigration laws and protecting the rights of Uzbek citizens living and working abroad.
