The figures were reported by Dildora Hoshimova, spokesperson for the Accounts Chamber.
Documents relating to UZS 4.8 trillion of the identified procurement violations were referred to law enforcement agencies for legal assessment.
Officials were also held administratively liable in connection with another UZS 222.3 billion worth of cases, Hoshimova said.
"Instructions have been sent to ministries and agencies to rectify all identified violations and prevent similar cases in the future," she added.
Budget spending and recovered funds
During the first nine months of the year, the Accounts Chamber identified financial errors affecting UZS 2 trillion in budget expenditure and took measures to address them.
The chamber said it had helped reduce expenditure by UZS 4.2 trillion and prevented UZS 23.6 billion in unlawful spending. A total of UZS 250.2 billion had been recovered into the state budget by the time of the report.
Audits also identified potential sources of additional tax and mandatory payment revenues worth UZS 1.6 trillion that could be collected for the budget.
Of this amount, UZS 656.3 billion has already been collected, while measures are under way to secure the remaining revenue.
Remote monitoring detects financial risks
Over the same nine-month period, UZS 17.1 trillion in financial risks identified by the Accounts Chamber's Remote Monitoring Center were addressed.
The center also helped prevent deficiencies involving UZS 90 billion before they could materialize.
