The project will run through the Mirzakalon Ismoiliy and Asaka mahallas. Authorities will preserve existing trees and green spaces, inventory buildings along the canal, and bring illegally occupied land plots into compliance with regulations, according to the statement.
The project also includes pedestrian and bicycle paths, accessible walkways for people with disabilities, benches, gazebos, children’s playgrounds and outdoor workout areas.
Authorities also plan to use ground-floor premises in apartment buildings No. 1A, 2, 3, 5 and 7 in the Mirzakalon Ismoiliy mahalla.
