Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Kuwait Ayubkhon Yunusov held talks with Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs.
The sides reviewed the current state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation, investment projects and ties in tourism, transport and healthcare.
They also exchanged views on the current situation in the region.
The Kuwaiti side reaffirmed its readiness to continue practical work aimed at expanding bilateral relations.
Recalling his previous visit to Uzbekistan, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah praised the hospitality of the Uzbek people, the country’s national traditions and its peaceful and secure environment.
The sides stressed the importance of making effective use of existing opportunities to further strengthen relations between Uzbekistan and Kuwait.
