According to the National Statistics Committee, Andijan region led the country with UZS 8.7 trillion in garment production during the first eight months of the year. It was followed by Tashkent region with UZS 2.9 trillion and Namangan region with UZS 2.4 trillion.

Tashkent city ranked fourth with UZS 2.2 trillion, followed by Fergana region with UZS 1.7 trillion.

Samarkand region recorded UZS 1.2 trillion in clothing production, while Kashkadarya region produced UZS 1.3 trillion worth of garments.

Production in Bukhara region amounted to UZS 831.3 billion, followed by Khorezm region at UZS 772.6 billion and Navoi region at UZS 720.2 billion.

Syrdarya region recorded UZS 414.1 billion in output, while Karakalpakstan produced UZS 389.8 billion.

The lowest production volumes among the regions included in the statistics were recorded in Surkhandarya region at UZS 258.4 billion and Jizzakh region at UZS 244.8 billion.
