Production of cotton fabrics containing at least 85% cotton by weight increased by 29.9%, from 72.5 million to 94.2 million square meters, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Output of knitted or crocheted fabrics rose by 1.2%, from 59,623 to 60,359.6 tonnes.
Production of knitted underwear increased by 36.1%, from 77.4 million to 105.4 million units. However, output of knitted or crocheted outerwear fell by 19.5%, from 48 million to 38.7 million units.
Uzbekistan's total industrial output reached UZS 1,085.7 trillion in the first nine months of 2026, representing an 8.1% increase year on year.
