Free legal advice website launched in Uzbekistan
In Uzbekistan, free legal advice service portal - Advice.uz has started its work in a test mode, the press service of the Ministry of Justice reports.
The site was developed using the experience of the British network Citizens Advice, which provides free information and advice via telephone and Internet. British specialists were involved in creating Advice.uz, and Uzbek developers traveled to London to study the work of Citizens Advice from the inside.
On the website Advice.uz, one can get legal information on topics such as citizenship and migration, government services, consumer rights protection, health care, transport, social security and others. Legal advice can also be obtained through the online consultancy service.
The ministry said that all information on the portal is a recommendation and is designed to quickly find a legal solution to a problem.
“The submitted applications will not be considered as appeals of citizens. In order to file a complaint or statements, one should contact not through Advice.uz, but through hotlines of state bodies,” the press service of the department noted.
