All newly constructed apartments will be connected to centralized heating — Ministry of Construction
From 2025 onward, all new multi-story buildings will either be connected to existing district boiler houses or have new, separate boiler houses constructed. In the New Tashkent area, a centralized trigeneration system will be used for heating and cooling in the multi-story buildings currently under construction, the Ministry informed Kun.uz.

During the presidential selector meeting on January 23, it was emphasized that this year, 135,000 new multi-story apartments will be constructed with centralized heating, and cooking will be done via electric stoves. The Ministry of Construction and Communal Services further informed Kun.uz that in 2025, the same number of new residential buildings across the country will also be connected to centralized heating.
The Ministry also noted that this year, multi-story buildings with 120,000 apartments are planned to be built in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, various regions, and the city of Tashkent, with an additional 15,000 apartments in the New Tashkent area included in this construction.
According to the presidential decree signed on December 9, 2021, regarding the construction of the “New Uzbekistan” neighborhoods, multi-story residential buildings, engineering and transport infrastructure, social facilities, manufacturing, trade, and service facilities will be built in a comprehensive manner. In line with this, 29,000 apartments in the “New Uzbekistan” neighborhoods will be provided with centralized heating, as stated by the Ministry.
Additionally, heating and cooling of the 15,000 apartment multi-story buildings under construction in New Tashkent will be implemented through a centralized trigeneration system.
The Ministry also mentioned that in regions with high demand for housing, the construction of multi-story buildings with 91,000 apartments is planned. In areas where there is the possibility of supplying thermal energy via existing centralized boiler houses, technical conditions have been obtained to connect newly built multi-story buildings to central boiler houses, and measures are being taken to provide centralized heating.
For newly built multi-story buildings where connection to existing central and local boiler houses is not possible, separate boiler houses will be constructed.
