Over 120 hectares of additional land allocated from Tashkent region for New Tashkent City
Tashkent region governor Zoir Mirzaev has issued a decree allocating 122.3 hectares of land from Yukori Chirchik district for the construction of New Tashkent City.

According to the decision, 122.3 hectares of land in Yukori Chirchik district have been designated for the development of New Tashkent City.
Specifically, 75.22 hectares have been allocated from the Bordankul area, while 47.1 hectares have been designated from the Dostlik area.
To date, more than 220 hectares of land have been permanently transferred to the New Tashkent City Construction Directorate.
It is worth noting that in October 2024, 110.4 hectares of land that had been reclaimed as state reserve land and reclassified were permanently allocated to the New Tashkent City Construction Directorate.
Earlier, an announcement was made regarding job vacancies for the construction of New Tashkent City, which is being developed on a 20,000-hectare site. Salaries for these positions were promised to range between 8 and 15 million UZS.
