Tashkent ready to host second consultative meeting of Central Asian leaders
On November 29, the second consultative meeting of the heads of Central Asian states will be held in Tashkent.
The summit agenda includes topics related to the enhancement of regional cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, transport-communications, cultural-humanitarian and other fields.
The parties are also expected to exchange views on pressing issues in international politics and regional security.
The leaders are expected to adopt a final document following the session.
It should be noted that the initiative to hold regular consultative meetings of the CA heads of state was put forward by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in September 2017. The first summit meeting took place in March last year in the city of Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
