Bahrom Mansurov heads Uzatom agency
New appointments have taken place in the system of the Ministry of Energy.

According to the ministry, Bahrom Mansurov has been appointed director of the Agency for the Development of Nuclear Energy and Ilhom Nematullayev has become the head of the Inspectorate for Control over the Use of Electricity, Oil Products and Gas.
Bahrom Mansurov graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk Institute of Oil and Gas in Ukraine. He worked as a chief technologist, chief engineer, director of the UE Shurtan gas chemical complex and the first deputy board chairman of Uztransgaz.
Since 2019, Bahrom Mansurov has worked as the First Deputy Director General of the Agency for the Development of Nuclear Energy under the Ministry of Energy.
Ilhom Nematullayev worked as the head of the Methodology and Licensing Department at the Ministry of Energy. Prior to that, he was the head of the Department for the Development of Electric Grids at the Energy Ministry.
In mid-February 2019, the head of the Uzatom agency, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, was appointed First Deputy Minister of Energy. He retained the post of director general of the Nuclear Energy Development Agency. At the end of September 2022, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov became the Minister of Energy.
