Uzbekistan to establish cooperation with Belgian company specialized in supply of advanced technology solutions for Defense

On October 14, 2019, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov met with the Executive Director of the Belgian company BATS Mauro Enrico Costa, the MFA reports.
BATS is an electronics company specialized in the design, development and supply of advanced technology solutions in the fields of Defense and Homeland Security. Main areas of application are battlefield surveillance, force protection, critical infrastructure protection, border and coastal surveillance and others.
During the negotiations, representatives of BATS expressed interest in establishing cooperation with relevant departments and companies of Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the elaboration of mutual visits to Uzbekistan and Belgium in 2020.
The Belgian side intends to demonstrate examples of its advanced developments and the advantages of their practical application. The company is also ready to discuss the creation of joint production enterprises with Uzbek partners.
