Ambassador Dilyor Khakimov meets with WCO Secretary General in Brussels

On January 27, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov met in Brussels with the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization (WCO), Kunio Mikuriya, the MFA said.

At the meeting, the current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and WCO, prospects for its expansion and plans for the short and long term were discussed.

Following the meeting, WCO Secretary General expressed readiness to support Uzbekistan in implementing new initiatives aimed at strengthening the institutional capacity of Uzbekistan’s customs service, including through organization of workshops in Tashkent.
