Samarkand ready to host SCO summit – photo report

On September 15-16, Samarkand will host the next summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

In addition to the heads of 8 member states of the organization, leaders of 7 other countries and representatives of international organizations will participate in the summit. Never before have so many heads of state and government gathered in Samarkand.

The streets of the city are decorated with the flags of the member and invited countries, logos of the SCO.

Especially in the “Silk Road Samarkand” tourist center, where the main events of the summit will take place, hotels and recreation centers are ready to welcome guests.
