Popular German TV Channel WDR publishes a video “Uzbekistan - country on the Silk road” on YouTube

One of the largest German TV channels Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) has published on its YouTube channel a video representing the culture and tourism potential of Uzbekistan, the press service of the State Tourism Committee reported.

According to Hannah Perkhtold, the author of the film “Uzbekistan - country on the Silk road”, the main purpose of the footage is to show the rich historical and cultural heritage of our country.

The video demonstrates historical and architectural erections of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, included in the UNESCO world heritage list.

The WDR Reisen YouTube channel regularly provides its viewers with information about tourist routes around the world. It is expected that the screening of the film about Uzbekistan on the WDR Reisen channel will further increase the flow of tourists from Germany to our country.
