Kuwait Airways planning to launch direct flights to Uzbekistan
Considering that the flight time from Fergana to Kuwait is 3-3.5 hours, Kuwait International Airport could become a convenient transit point for citizens of Uzbekistan.

During his visit to Kuwait, the governor of the Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, visited the head office of Kuwait Airways and met with Abdulmohsen Salem Alfagaan, board chairman of the airline, and other board members.
The meeting discussed the establishment of regular direct flights from Kuwait to Fergana by Kuwait Airways and the prospects for future cooperation.
In light of the increasing demand for air travel among the people in Uzbekistan, emphasis was laid on collaboration with foreign airlines. Taking into account the flight duration of 3-3.5 hours from Fergana to Kuwait, the Kuwait International Airport has the potential to be a convenient transit hub for Uzbek travelers.
It was also emphasized that there is a significant interest from Kuwaiti nationals to travel to Fergana, especially considering Uzbekistan’s 10-day visa-free regime for Kuwaitis.
The chairman of Kuwait Airways expressed considerable interest in establishing regular flights to Fergana and indicated that planned activities are being arranged in this regard.

Highlighting the importance of regular flights from a logistics perspective, the governor of the Fergana region noted the efficiency of commercial flights for delivering locally produced and harvested products to Kuwait and from there to other countries.
