Uzbekistan and Paraguay discuss expanding trade and investment ties

According to UzA, the sides discussed the phased liberalization of market access and measures to expand the potential of bilateral trade.
The meeting was described as a logical continuation of agreements reached in December 2025 between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Peña on deepening cooperation in trade, investment, energy and food security.
In addition to trade matters, the parties explored opportunities to attract modern technologies and investment into the exploration and extraction of mineral resources. Prospects for implementing joint projects in this field were also discussed.
