Saida Mirziyoyeva: Uzbekistan leads Central Asia in efforts against domestic violence and labor reforms
Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, held discussions with the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Regional Director of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
The discussions centered around the wide-ranging reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan.

"I am proud that our country has become a regional leader in the fight against domestic violence. We are striving to create equal opportunities for all and further expand women's rights," Saida Mirziyoyeva said.

She emphasized that Uzbekistan is fully committed to eliminating child and forced labor, as well as advancing reforms in education and the social sector.
The Presidential Advisor also expressed gratitude to the international community for its support of Uzbekistan’s reforms and its path towards WTO membership.
