The two sides focused primarily on the prompt resolution of traffic congestion caused by passenger vehicles currently observed at border crossings between the two countries.
An agreement was reached to deploy additional personnel and resources to swiftly clear the congestion.
Furthermore, due to the low volume of outbound passenger traffic at the "Navoi" checkpoint, a temporary reverse traffic flow was arranged to allow passenger vehicles to enter Uzbekistan through this post.
According to the Customs Committee, the measures taken have completely resolved the congestion at this checkpoint.
