According to the Customs Committee, the average import value of a phone reached $200 during January–August, up sharply from $111.7 in the same period last year.
In January–August 2025, Uzbekistan imported 2.73 million mobile devices worth $305.7 million. The average value per imported phone was therefore $88.3 lower than this year, meaning the average import price has increased by about 79% year on year.
China remains the largest supplier of mobile phones to Uzbekistan. The country also imports devices from Vietnam, India, South Korea and other countries.
