550 thousand tons of Russian oil to be supplied to Uzbekistan through Kazakhstan in 2024

In 2024, the volume of transit of Russian oil through the territory of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan will increase from the planned 500 to 550 thousand tons, the press service of KazTransOil JSC reported.
In accordance with the oil supply schedule approved by the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, in January KazTransOil JSC will ensure the supply of 25 thousand tons of Russian oil through the territory of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan.
It is noted that the pumping of Russian oil to Uzbekistan through the main oil pipeline system of KazTransOil JSC began in 2017.
Last year, the company transported 154.3 thousand tons of Russian oil to Uzbekistan.
