Uzbekistan and Hungary discuss defense cooperation prospects

On January 30, 2025, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Budapest, Aybek Shakhavdinov, held a meeting with Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, the Minister of Defence of Hungary.

During the discussions, the issues of developing strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Hungary in the fields of defense and security were discussed.

The sides emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation within the framework of the Turkic States Organization between the two countries.
