“Uzbekistan Japan Universities Alumni Club” graduates met at the embassy of Japan in Tashkent 

On November 23, 2018, Japanese embassy in Uzbekistan hosted the 5th meeting of graduates of the “Uzbekistan Japan Universities Alumni Club” (UJUAC). 

Opening the traditional meeting, Chairman of the UJUAC Ravkat Busakov, a graduate of Kyoto Pedagogical University, noted that the purpose of the annual traditional meeting is to develop and strengthen ties between Uzbeks, who graduated from different universities of Japan.

The graduates, Otabek Imamov – chief specialist of the department for cooperation with international financial institutions of the State Investment Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Aziza Abbasova – Head of the Department for Coordination of Financial Monitoring in Credit Institutions of the CBU and Nargiza Abdurakhmanova – Senior Lecturer at Singapore Management Development Institute in Tashkent, delivered interesting presentations to the audience.

They spoke about the years of study in Japan, acquired knowledge and experience overseas, and their efforts in implementing them for the development of Uzbekistan.

According to young specialists, gaining knowledge of different countries, their culture, language and values is a worthy experience. It expands understanding of the world, enriches the person and makes more successful cooperation in the fields of economy, international tourism, education and others. 

At the meeting, a new leader of the UJUAC and an executive of the Association of Japanese Language Teachers in Uzbekistan Munojat Umarova also made presentation. It should be noted that she is a graduate of the University of Tsukuba. 

On November 27, the UJUAC will arrange a meeting at the Uzbek State University of World Languages. It is planned that Malika Rustamova, director of the travel company “MirayTravelService” will deliver lectures for the students of the Japanese faculty. For information, she is a high-category guide-interpreter, a graduate of business and management courses under the PMP program of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Tashkent.
