To solve the current problems of the company, JSC Uzbekneftegaz plans to double gas tariffs, UzA reported with reference to the head of the company Bakhodir Sidikov.

“To solve the current problems of Uzbekneftegaz, we must double gas prices. Only then problems will be solved positively. We submitted this proposal to the President, but he criticized us for the idea. Now we are looking for other options. The state helps us. 20 percent of problems are solved by raising gas prices, and 80% through state financial assistance,” he noted.

Earlier, Bakhodir Sidikov said that in 2018, the losses of Uzbekneftegaz reached 8 trillion soums.
