Ruslanbek Davletov takes on new advisory role, former SSS chairman Abdusalom Azizov becomes his deputy
Uzbekistan has implemented significant changes to its team of presidential advisers, with multiple appointments and reassignments made by the President's decree.

New appointments and reassignments
- Ruslanbek Davletov has been appointed as the Presidential Adviser on Social-Political, Religious-Educational, and Youth Affairs. Previously, he held the role of Presidential Adviser on Socio-Political Development.
- Abdusalom Azizov, the former head of the State Security Service, has been named Deputy Adviser to Ruslanbek Davletov.
- Sukhrob Yusupov has also been appointed as Deputy Adviser to Davletov, transitioning from his previous position as Deputy Adviser on Socio-Political Development.
- Adham Turdiev has taken on the role of Deputy Adviser on Social-Political, Religious-Educational, and Youth Affairs. Prior to this, he served as Head of a Department in the Presidential Administration.
Other changes
- Muzaffar Komilov, Adviser on Religious and Interethnic Relations, has been relieved of his duties to transition to another position.
- Olim Saliev, Deputy Adviser on Religious and Interethnic Relations, has also stepped down due to a new professional assignment.
