Uzbekistan to bring national regulatory standards in line with EAEU requirements
Uzbekistan will accelerate work to bring national regulatory standards in line with the requirements of the EAEU member countries in order to become a full-fledged participant in the Union’s market.

The Government of Uzbekistan plans to approve the EAEU regulations and develop its own guidelines on the basis of 26 special technical requirements adopted by the EAEU member countries. This is stated in the draft State Program for 2021.
It is noted that the purpose of adopting the document is to increase the competitiveness of products.
Earlier, the first deputy director of the Uzstandard agency Javlon Kattakhodjayev also informed about the changes to be made this year.
In particular, in order to implement the requirements, regulations and norms of the Eurasian Economic Union, to prepare industrial products for this market, 50 technical regulations have been introduced. New ones will be harmonized with the EAEU norms.
