Uzbekistan, Russia discuss issues of enhancing tourism interaction between regions 

During the meeting, the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, information on the development of the country's tourism industry and the reforms being implemented in it were presented.

It was noted that within the framework of the agreement signed between the cities of Samarkand and Kazan in the field of tourism, the Committee for Tourism Development of the city of Kazan is carrying out specific work, and representatives of this sphere are very interested in cooperation with the regions of Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, new ways of cooperation between regions and cities were discussed, including the organization of mutual info tours.

The diplomats also held talks with the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Afzalov.

During the negotiations, issues of interregional cooperation, participation of the Bashkortostan delegation in the international industry fair “Innoprom. Central Asia” held on April 24-26 in Tashkent, as well as intensification of interaction in the field of tourism were discussed.
