Uzbekistan’s melon and watermelon exports down
Last year, Uzbekistan exported 82.9 thousand tons of melons and watermelons to 23 countries for $22.7 million.

The volume of exports decreased by 22.7 thousand tons compared to 2020, the State Statistics Committee says.
Major importers of melons and watermelons from Uzbekistan during the reporting year:
- Kazakhstan - 33.6 thousand tons
- Russia - 20.3 thousand tons
- Kyrgyzstan - 15.6 thousand tons
- Ukraine - 5.6 thousand tons
- Latvia - 2.9 thousand tons
- Belarus - 1.4 thousand tons
- Tajikistan - 1.4 thousand tons
- Germany - 1.2 thousand tons
