Gulnara Karimova’s son says his mother is ready to return to public work and give all financial and physical strength to this

Islom Karimov junior (President Islom Karimov’s grandson) stated on his Instagram page that his mother Gulnora Karimova is willing to return to public work.

“The progress and success of our country is in the hearts of our compatriots. In recent years, great efforts have been made for further development of our country,” he said.

Islom Karimov Jr. noted that his mother had done a lot of useful things for Uzbekistan, particularly in the fields of culture, fashion, health and education. According to him, Gulnora Karimova is ready again to take part in the socio-political life of the country.

It should be recalled that on August 21, 2015, the criminal court of Tashkent region convicted Gulnora Karimova of committing several financial crimes and sentenced her to five years’ imprisonment.
