Meeting with secretary of state of Slovakian MFA
On November 2, 2016, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Lukas Parizek, who arrived in Uzbekistan as the head of the delegation of business circles, reports the press-service of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.
During the conversation the sides exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral relations, including in the “Uzbekistan - European Union” format, as well as within multilateral organizations.
L.Parizek positively assessed the Uzbek-Slovak “round table” with participation of representatives of business and the third round of inter-ministerial political consultations, which were held in Tashkent.
The sides confirmed their mutual interest in strengthening and developing cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment and other fields.
It was emphasized that exhibitions, which previously took place in Tashkent and are opening with the participation of the Slovak delegation on November 3, in Samarkand so-called “Magic Slovakia” and “Best Graphics of Slovak illustrators, awarded at the international Biennale in Bratislava in the years 1967-2013” are evidence of the growing interest in the two countries to the cultural and humanitarian exchange.
The Ambassador of Slovakia Pavol Ivan attended the negotiations.
