Representatives of Uzbekistan visited production of wooden house blocks from glued beams and demonstration blocks of wooden houses, the press service of the Russian Forestry Complex said.

“What attracts foreign buyers in the products of the Russian timber industry complex is, first of all, quality. Russia has established itself as a reliable trading partner in the world market,” Viktor Yevtukhov, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, said.

He noted that cooperation with Uzbekistan will give the Russian forest industry a new impetus to development.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzagrotehsanoatholding Saidaboss Saidaminov said that Uzbekistan is interested in supply of timber products with a high degree of processing from Russia. In his opinion, Uzbekistan and Russia should establish cooperation in the field of wood construction technologies.

“In the climatic conditions of Central Asia, modern developments in wooden construction will create high-quality and affordable housing,” Saidaminov added.
