New rector appointed to Tashkent Financial Institute
A new rector was appointed to the Tashkent Financial Institute, reports the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education.
In accordance with the Decree, adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers on September 3, 2018, Ulugbek Uktamovich Azizov is appointed as the new rector of the Tashkent Financial Institute.
Ulugbek Azizov, born in 1976 in Kashkadarya region, is a graduate of Tashkent Financial Institute (1998) and Yokohama National University of Japan (2007). He is a candidate of economic sciences, docent.
Prior to that, Professor Nizamiddin Hamrayevich Khaydarov, the doctor of economic sciences, was serving as the Head of the Institute. He was appointed to that position on May 23, 2017.
The Tashkent Financial Institute was founded in 1991, under the decree of the President of Uzbekistan, on the basis of two faculties (Finance, Credit and Accounting) of the Tashkent Institute of National Economy.
The institute today prepares bachelors and masters students in a number of educational fields, such as finance, banking, professional and pedagogical training, taxation, insurance, securities and stock exchange, investment projects financing, accounting, audit and management.
