Uzbekistan, Egypt signed accords worth $ 470 million
Following the Uzbek-Egypt business forum and the Tashkent cooperation exchange, Uzbekistan and Egypt inked agreements worth $ 470 million on investment projects.
The signing of accords were part of the Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil El Sisi’s official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.


The participants of the forum and the cooperation exchange held talks on mutually beneficial projects, such as tourism, pharmaceuticals, electrical engineering, rare metals production, creation of logistics centers and setting off fruit and vegetable enterprises.
Furthermore, loan agreements with Egyptian banks that worth $ 60 million and export contracts for the supply of cotton fiber and copper pipes that worth $ 13 million were also signed, the press service of the Ministry for Foreign Trade says.
