Alexander Lukashenko to visit Uzbekistan
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko pays an official visit to Uzbekistan on September 12, says the Press Secretary of the President of Uzbekistan Komil Allamjonov.
“Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, arrives in Tashkent on September 12 to meet with President Shavkat Mirziyayev. Main events and signing of intergovernmental accords are scheduled for September 13 in Kuksaroy residence. The heads of two states are expected to visit industrial enterprises and the exhibition of Belarusian products in the capital city,” reads the Press Secretary’s message.
The sides are planning to discuss wide range of mutually beneficial issues regarding trade, economy, investment projects and others.
Presidents of Uzbekistan and Belarus will also exchange views on topical issues of regional and international politics.
Within the framework of the visit, an exhibition "Made in Belarus" will be organized in Tashkent. Besides, heads of regional administrations and prominent entrepreneurs of the two countries will attend a joint business forum and inter-regional cooperation talks.
Following the high-level talks, a Joint Communiqué of the two leaders, intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements together with other important documents, aimed at boosting friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus, are expected to be signed.
Previously, it was reported that Alexander Lukashenko’s visit to Uzbekistan is scheduled for September 13.
