President Mirziyoyev’s upcoming visit discussed at a meeting with French Ambassador
On September 10, 2018, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Violen Biet de Wilmore, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan, reports the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The sides focused mainly on the upcoming official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to France. Preparations for other joint events at various levels and formats were also discussed.
Earlier it was reported that Sardor Rustambaev, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to France, presented his Credentials to President Emmanuel Macron in a formal ceremony.
Mr. Emmanuel Macron, at the meeting with Sardor Rustambaev, assessed the current state and prospects of the Uzbek-French relations positively and thanked the President of Uzbekistan for his contribution to the development of bilateral contacts.
