Bilateral accords inked between Uzbekistan and Belarus

Following the negotiations in Kuksaroy residence, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a Joint Communiqué.

A number of important bilateral documents between the governments and ministries of the two countries were also inked.

In particular,

- Agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus;

- Agreement on interdepartmental cooperation between the Department of Land Resources and State Cadastre of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus;

- Agreement on interdepartmental cooperation in the field of forensic medicine between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus;

- Agreement on interdepartmental cooperation in the field of health and medical sciences between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus;

- Agreement on interdepartmental cooperation in the field of culture between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus;

- Agreement on interdepartmental cooperation in the field of higher education between the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus;

- Agreement on economic, scientific and technological cooperation in the field of agriculture between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus;

- Agreement on intergovernmental cooperation in the field of science and technology between the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus;

- Agreement on intergovernmental cooperation and mutual assistance in customs affairs between the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus, and agreement on intergovernmental cooperation in mutual assistance in trade affairs;

- Agreement on development of interstate military-technical cooperation between the State Committee for Defense Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Military-Industrial Committee of the Republic of Belarus;
