Exchange rate of the US currency against the Uzbek sum keeps growing.
On September 20, the US dollar exchange rate increased by 10 sums and reached the mark of 8.088 sums.
The dollar rate in commercial banks was 8.100 sums.
According to sources reporting Kun.uz, many commercial banks are buying the US dollar at 8.120 sums, and selling it for 8.180-8.200 sums.
It should be noted that on Sept. 17, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan set new exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek sum.
The US dollar, then, increased by a record of 176.83 sums and 1 dollar cost 8.039 sums.
