Peskov speaks about Vladimir Putin's visit to Uzbekistan
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will visit Uzbekistan on Oct. 18, 2019. Currently, the Russian side is preparing for the high-level meeting, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the Russian President.
“The visit to Uzbekistan is indeed at a very advanced stage of preparation. We are planning to make important proposals,” Peskov told reporters.
It should be reminded that the last meeting between President Mirziyoyev and President Putin was held at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in June this year in Qingdao, China.
It is expected that within the framework of the Russian President’s official visit to Uzbekistan the first Uzbek-Russian forum of interregional cooperation will be held.
