Uzbekistan, China discussed boosting bilateral relations
On Sept. 28, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China Jiang Yan, the press service of the MFA reports.
It was noted that during the meeting the sides discussed current state of bilateral contacts and prospects for further development of Uzbekistan-China relations in various realms.
Earlier it was reported that the two countries agreed to increase the long-term trade turnover up to $ 20 billion.
At present more than 700 enterprises operate in Uzbekistan with participation of Chinese investors. There is also Uzbek-Chinese Trade House and the Association of Chinese Industrial and Commercial Enterprises functioning in Tashkent.
