Uzbek-Russian educational forum kicks off in Tashkent
Uzbek-Russian educational forum "New staff for new economy" is taking place in Tashkent, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
According to experts, this forum can be referred as vivid and effective because there has never been such a great deal of interaction between the two countries in this area.
Representatives of nearly 80 Russian higher educational institutions are on a visit in Tashkent.
Viktor Sadovychy, the rector of the Moscow State University named after Lomonosov, stated that more than 100 documents on the cooperation of higher education institutions of Russia and Uzbekistan will be signed. In addition, traditions of previous relationships in education will be restored.
In his turn, the rector of the National University of Uzbekistan emphasized that the university has a long history of cooperation with the Moscow University.
The educational forum continues its work as experts discuss many issues.
The parties are expected to ink several documents following the event.
